Dear Sir / Madam,
It is intimated that I was selected as construction project manager of Basha dam project during recruitment test held by your prestigious organization and was directed to report on 25 November next week at project site located near Chillas valley.
As you know that I’m resident of Rawalpindi and want to shift my entire family to Abbottabad which is the closest city to the project site. There are few domestic issues which I want to bring into you kind notice. Firstly, I have to arrange accommodation for my family and in this connection I have already met with local property dealers who will show me the house of my choice next week. Secondly, my kids are school going and require to be shifted to any suitable branch of city school system at Abbottabad. Moreover, an appropriate pick and drop service from school to house is also require to be arrange for them. It is highlighted that the time available with me to address all these aforementioned issues is very less and will ultimately going to affect my performance on my new assignment.
Apropos to above, it is requested that kindly extend my joining time so that I could resolve my all domestic issues and start my new job with full zeal. I will be able to commence my duties on 5th December.
