Improving english...
I have always known that one of my weaknesses is English. I know I do not understand the rules of grammar. My vocabulary is limited and I don't seem to be able to formulate my ideas so that when it is express it is clear and concise. I need help. Anybody knows where I can start?

HI, Maybe you have just to review the grammar,when i see your written english your vocabulary seems not that bad, just try to get to know as most words as possible and try chatting.

Thank you very much Alex-93. Like I've mentioned in my personal profile. I have had over 20 years of exposure to the English language, but it is not my native language. I still find myself struggling to express my ideas and thought processes when put in the spot light. Especially when I have to write a letter or simply an essay. Therefore, I hope to find a different outlet to help improve my

Have you tried reading? A lot? If not, I recommend read, read, read. Several hours every day. Newspapers, magazines, and novels. Not grammar books or dictionaries!

Yes! I read a lot of english books , it makes a lot of fun. Even when you don't understand every single word , you can guess the meaning with the context.Sometimes there're some sentences in a row , which I don't understand. But I can always summarize where the text is about.After every chapter, i reconstruct the story in my mind.
