Improve my Speaking?

Question

Hi,My English level is on intermediate level. I can read technical text, and other things like newspaper pretty easy, but when I am trying to speak to other persons, it takes a long time to find proper words.Could you please give me a piece of advice?Thanks.

My word of advice is 'patience'. Also, practice, practice. practice. Fluency in a foreign language is a slow process for even the best learners.

Read aloud. If you can record yourself, do so for pronunciation, but read aloud anyway just to get your mouth and brain used to the patterns.

Also Mohsen, listen to native speakers as much as you can, on the bus, on the train, on TV or radio; and set yourself tasks like buying a newspaper from a shop, or asking for information at the train station. Place yourself in situations where you have to engage with people in English, but initially keep it very simple so that you gain confidence. You can gradually increase the complexity of the situation as you develop higher and higher levels of competence.
Bear in mind that that reading and speaking are completely different activities, involving different parts of the brain and different skills. Good luck!

Hi Mohsen,
I believe what you should do, as do I, and I think it can help you a lot is role modeling, especially in family series, which have normal English speakings. You probably haven't any native English speaker. The best way of learning a language is being among native speakers and also practice. However, you can pose yourself as an actor and speak like him/her, then you unconsciously learn stress and rhythm of current English speaking and real conversations.
Of course academic speaking is different, which you should probably listen to TOEFL or IELTS Academic materials. GooD LucK friend.

P.S. You shouldn't buy these material. You can look for it in YouTube. I think remembering word can be improved by writing , try to write your speech and do not look for any word in dictionary. If you couldn't remember any word, just try to describe the situation with simple, but correct, phrases. And then check it and try to make it better by dictionary. I have to mention that my English level probably is not so good to improve your speaking fluency and I am a bad choice for you.
