• impression

Hi!

I read the following article and question in a TOEIC book:

“Improve Your Resume

In today’s job market, it’s important to always put your best foot forward when applying for jobs. Remember that your resume is the means for making a strong first impression on a potential employer. If you want to be invited for an interview, your resume must stand out from all the rest. Follow these tips to make your resume work harder for you.

Q. The word “impression” in paragraph 1, line 2, is closest in meaning to

(A) imitation

(B) opinion

(C) illustration

(D) symbol

(Answer: B)” ((TOMATO TOEIC, p. 389))

I have two questions.

First Question: Do you agree with the above book that B is correct?

Second Question: If there were “(E) image” among the above choices, which one(s) do you think would be correct? B? E? Both of them?

Thanks in advance.
