Important sentence

How to say these sentences grammatically.
I was very naughty in my childhood couldn't been able to concentrate on study.

I cried a lot when my father died for the agony/sorrow of his death.

I reposted this with two sentences because the previous post might have been overlooked, as maybe I had broken rules or something (if so sorry for that) so this time I posted two sentences only I hope you help me thank you.

Top answer

I got the mistake in first one upon reading the sentence again "to be able to" and "could" often can be substituted so it should be "could not concentrate".
