Dear teachers,

Can you tell me the differences bewteen 1800s and 1800's and until and till?

Just I have encountered with 1800s and 1800's but I do think they are the same. Am I right?

1800's is the older way of punctuating it. 1800s is the newer way of punctuating it. They are the same in meaning, of course.

They are the same in meaning, of course. It's the years 1800 through 1899.

until and till are interchangeable. They have the same meaning.

Personally, I always use 'until'.
