Impenetrate

Hello

I ran into a word, 'impenetrate' and looked it up in the dictionary, but coundn't find it.

At first, I thought that it was the opposite meaning of 'penetrate' owing to 'im-', but still confused.

Anyone can tell me what it means??

Can't be penetrated.

"His armor was impenetrable." (Can't be penetrated by any weapons.)
