Immodest post: online interview with, er... me

I was asked by a US-based science-fiction fan website if I'd answer a few questions about the SF stuff I've done for BBC audio. If anyone feels bored enough or brave enough to have a quick squint the result is at http://omnivoreink.com/TheThunderChild/Articles/Radio/Interviews/BertCoules.html . Be warned: there's a pretty terrible picture of me near the beginning, though it is at least mercifully small.

Yay!
By the way, what was your "Wizard of Earthsea" project like? I'm an Ursula K. LeGuin fan. And what do you think of Octavia Butler's work?

You're too modest. If I resembled Maggie Thatcher I'd be damned proud!

It turned out well; I was pleased. It's rare to get a two-hour slot and it was pleasant to have the breathing space, though one of my favourite sequences still had to be cut for time. We had a good cast too, including Richard Johnson and Judi Dench. The commercial cassettes aren't in

Didn't he play Chingakchook (sp?) in a BBC TV version of Last of the Mohicans? He is quite a presence.
