Immigration

As I'm passing through the immigatrion counter the inspector asks me for my boarding pass and I reply with:

"I think I've left the boarding pass on the plane." Or should it be:

"I think I left the boarding pass on the plane."

Which is more native? What's the difference?

Both are correct. Simple past is more native. The present perfect implies that your error was very recent.
