Immerse or busy

Hello everyone,

If a student is busy flicking their pen or doing something bad such as writing scribbles on a piece of paper during a class, is the following sentences correct to tell them?

1. Don't busy yourself writing and doing useless things.

2. Don't immerse yourself in writing and doing useless things.

3. Don't busy yourself with writing and doing useless things.

Regards,

JA

Oof! I wouldn't bother with all that "busy yourself" and "immerse yourself". Scribbling doesn't bother me as long as it's quiet.

I'd just say, "Can you please stop that? It's driving me crazy."

Nevertheless, for the viewpoint of grammar, they're all OK.
