"I'm watering my garden"

Hi,
Can we say "I'm watering my garden"? or is it necessarily "I'm watering the flowers/trees in my garden"?

Many thanks,
Nessie.

Welcome to EnglishForward, Nessie.

"I'm watering my garden" is perfectly OK to say. I'd probably only get more specific than that if I were watering a few specific plants in the garden (i.e. not watering everything in the garden).
