I don't know exactly how to word what I'm looking for, so I'll just explain my situation. I'm writing a story, and a certain character in said story is 1350 years old (Don't ask, it's complicated.) They're supposed to be mature and speak in a more mature attitude, if that makes sense. They're saying something along the lines of "I have been sent here due to your being here." But it seems somewhat.. forced? I'm losing my mind over this, so if you know how to reword it, please do. Thanks.
