I'm studying English at university

I want to say "my major at university is English".
"I'm studying English at university" is not good?

"My major (at the university) is English". (It is assumed that you mean higher level education.)
I am majoring in English. (American English)

I'm studying English at the university. (You might be majoring in Engineering, but also taking English classes.)
