I'm picking

It's hard to say who we'd like to play in the final," Australia captain Alex Blackwell, who made a match-winning 61 against India, said.
"We've not had a great record against New Zealand but we haven't been beaten by the West Indies.
"Having said that, they've got the likes of Deandra Dottin and Stafanie (attn eds: correct) Taylor who scored a fifty against us in the round games.
"Either of those teams are going to be very, very difficult to beat and I'm picking it's going to be a very good semi-final tomorrow (Friday)."

Please explain to me what "picking" means here.

I guess it means "guessing" though.
