I'm off for an early night

Hi,

I have heard people saying., "I'm off for an early night" --> Used when someone is going to bed.

"got an early start in the morning" --> Woke up early in the morning...

In case, if i want to use this, when i wanted to talk about entry and exit time in office.. how can i say this ?

Personally, I haven't heard the expression. Instead of an adjective, I hear it used adverbially (following a verb).

I'm going to call it quits early.
I'm going to hang it up early.
I'm going to sack out early.
Perhaps, I'm going to make it an early night.
