I'm not feeling so good/ well

Hi

Would you say that good and well are essentially synonymous in this context?

A-- John, why didn't you come to the party last night?
B-- I wasn't feeling well.

or -- I wasn't feeling good.

Thanks,

Tom

Pretty much. You could make the slight distinction that "well" always refers to health, whereas "good" may potentially refer to other types of feeling, but in this context health would normally be understood.
