I'm not asking for the world...

The amazing thing about poetry is that its lines are full of wisdom, experience and lessons. I enjoy reading it especially when I feel sad. So, I want each of you to post from two to four lines of the poems he/she most likes. It would be so great to read your selections and I'd really appreciate all your contributions, I know you can do it , you won't let me down,will you??

Tallulah TamPLEASE tell me again how to get single spacing.

Well...if you're writing your post in Word first and then pasting it in, the Word formatting isn't converting properly. So you may do better in Wordpad. Or you could leave out all the returns in Word, and only add them once you've pasted it in here.

All I have to say, is, to tell you that the
lanthorn is the moon; I, the man in the moon;
this thorn-brush, my thorn-brush; and his dog, my dog.

Tallulah, thank you indeed for your wonderful lines. I really liked them , I feel like a million dollars and I'm so hopeful about having much from you, since you're a native speaker. You don't know how much I like poetry, I'm sorry if I put you in a dilemma, you know ,choosing only some lines, it's just that I did'nt want to take much of your time. Thanks again, it's really good to have you.

Dear MrPedantic, actually you really don't have to be sorry, you can do whatever you want because you're among those whom I'm learning from, at least you care and share. These lines are brilliant and I truly am full of gratitude towards you , you made me smile again.
