Im nominated for an award
I just opened my youtube mail and a guy says, "We need your real email address, you have been nominated for Best Youtube video, in the 2007 College Football Blogger Awards. I click a few links, and google: college football blogger awards, it appears to be legit (for the web and blogs)
I looked at the other 5 nominations. Clever stuff, mostly compositing/ photoshopping sports heads onto funny pictures and parody songs.
Mine is the only one that is sketch or character driven. I wrote it, and directed it. Therefore I am tooting my own horn here at MWS&M because I did write the "script". Im not into the sports Blogs, from the outside it looks like everybody knows each other and there is a lot of cross linking and cross awareness on the blogs. I don't know any of the blogs, and from what I can tell, the voting for that category is not open and is restricted to a panel of Blogger voters.
