Children should always follow their parents’ advice. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Nobody can deny that parental influence is important for children. There is the perspective that children should always obey their parents’ advice and I totally agree with that owing to several positive reasons discussed below.
In my opinion, a child’s obedient to his parents lies in his innate because parents are the closest and most trustworthy people children can rely on since they were born. To be specific, in a family unit it is parents who provide children with all basic needs and teach children how to get on with other people and how to behave well. For example, parents often advise their children that they should greet their grandparents, they should help and share things with their siblings; in other words, parents teach them how to treat and respect other family members.
Another point is that parents act as a role model for children to follow in the family. Good parenting from families could create better young generations for the society, and children who obey their kind parents are more likely to become excellent citizens of the country. Furthermore, parents are children's predecessors that have enough experiences and knowledge to give the best advice for the path their children should choose when they grow up. For example, with the help from parents, children are often confident in making their own decisions about school, universities to go for a better career, someone they can trust in and love and even engage with their entire life.
To conclude, despite having a lot of negative aspects of advocating the idea children should not always disobey with their parents' advice, I believe that they should consider their parents as their life guide and concord with all the recommendations the parents make for them.
