I'm making money FOR Thailand

Judy: Don't make concerts, come to Thailand ><

Natalie: LOL well I'm making money for Thailand ;w;

Could the second sentence mean "I'm making money for my travel expenses to Thailand."?

Hello Teleostomi, It's an awkward phrase, but it could be said and it would be correct just as long as the context was clear to both Judy and Natalie (which I think it is). Most native speakers would say, "I'm saving money for (my trip to) Thailand". Once again, the context must be clear to both.

No. Japan is not mentioned anywhere in the dialogue.
