I'm looking for some proofreadings.

If any of you have time available, would you be kind to check these sentences so they don't sound weird or grammatically incorrect? Thanks!

1. Having to avoid the sunlight in summer, I shifted my life pattern into an owl's.
2. Comfort from the dog's house doesn't constrain the dog from the urge to exploration at night.
3. My eyes barely catches the trace of flies.
4. Everyone needs weekly break for movie for distration.
5. Wayward reading could tie me up in a trap of messed materials that never sums up.
6. Peripheral materials could decrease the intensity of focus.
7. Garbage disposure could turn the most industrial spirits into the laziest ones.
8. Great songwriters started professional careers at their earlier ages.
9. The daylight in summer tans my skin.
10. Under the dim light in the summer night, I see exercisers on the street.
11. Cats depend on the shades for hideout.
12. Internet enthusiasts could let the light turned on overnight.
13. The desks by the windows provide facility and views for students.
14. The desk sharing could upset the one who makes the earlier claim of it. But I did not let that made me defensive.
