I'm looking for one word in English...

Hi!

How do you call a person who, during an event, talks to the audience, entertains them, tells them what’s going on and introduces the bands, artists etc.
Event manager? I’m truly without options here...

Anonymous introduces the bands, artists etc. That's the 'master of ceremonies', usually abbreviated to "the MC". Also, believe it or not, it's used as a verb.

A friend of mine was asked to MC the charity event next Saturday. (He was asked to be the MC.)

It has been a while, but I think compere is used in England. (accent grave above first e).
