I'm looking for a good book

I'm looking for a good book, which details how to respond to telephone calls in business situations.

I'd like to learn what I should say when I get a call from a customer of my boss, who is out for lunch.

I'd like to learn how to ask a secretary to put me through to my client.

I'd like to know how to reject an unwanted sales call.

Is there any good book which is full of examples regarding the above situations?

Thank you in advance.

I don't think such books even exist. You'll find some tips, but not more. Try listening to what others say, read fiction books (for they usually have lots of dialogs).

  • When you get tired of reading, pay attention to how people talk in these situations in movies...

I googled business telephone etiquette and got a lot of hits. I think if you read through these articles, you'll get some good ideas. If you have specific questions about specific situations after you read these, please ask.
