I'm having trouble with choosing the right word, or leaving in the word

Could you please tell me how you would say these sentences properly please?

- I found someone I'm as passionate about as he is about her. He loves her the same way/like I love him.

- You aren't allowed to choose which/what days you have off.

- I'd rather do something for my boss because I like him than do something for him because I'm scared of him.

- I left the butter out in/under the heat.

- From close (up) she's pretty.

- What's the most (amount of) money you've ever donated.

- They pounced on the seat as if it was fresh meat.

- Staple the ticket to the page at the top and not through the middle. (I'm trying to say that the staple is at the top of the ticket not that the ticket is at the top of the page?)

Thank you
