I'm having difficulties using descriptive language
My objective is the following questions:
Describe a mechanical device that needs oiling, such as a door hinge.
My instructions are as follows: For each sensory impression listed below, write a sentence that describes a word of expression that shows the reader the experience.
I'm taking a corspondence course to get my Grade 12 and I have absolutelly no idea what to do for these. Please answer my example and explain the instruction in english english

Hi Anon They want you to write a descriptive sentence. Try to imagine opening a door with a hinge or hinges that need oiling. If you tried to open or close such a door, for example, it would probably make some noise, right?
