Topic: Explain some of the ways in which humans are damaging the environment. What can governments do
to address these problems? What can individual people do?

ESSAY

It is true that the environment is being gradually destroyed by humans' activities. There could be several reasons why this is the case, and a number of solutions can be used by both government and individual to mitigate this problem.

People are now causing bad effects on the environment in various ways. Firstly, many company and industrial zones are directly disposing of waste products into wildlife's natural habitat. This action is accountable for many environmental disasters, and even push some species to the brink of extinction. For example, Ve Dan, one of the largest companies in Viet Nam, has recently discharged chemical waste into rivers, causing death to many fished and others aquatic animals. Secondly, humans' transportation severely impact on atmosphere; in other words, exhaust fumes from vehicles are the main resource of ai pollution, which lead to plenty of detrimental situations such as global warming, climate change, and ozone layer depletion.

There are a variety of approaches which both government and each person can take action to address this problems. First and foremost, goverment of nations should discuss and establish a treaty of cutting down on emissions. If a clear regulation of how much allowed carbon footprint is imposed, countries will restrict their toxic waste from factories, and therefore the atmosphere will be more fresh. Secondly, in term of individual, one way that a person should make is using public transport more frequently. The number of vehicle moving on roads will dramatically decrease if each individual takes this step, which expedites the decline of air pollution.

In sum, to my mind, there are many causes for the damages of environment, and measures need to be taken by all people to tackle this problem.
