1. I'm going to request another day off on monday.

Is the above sentence correct? To me, the sentence sounds weird.

nerdikarp I'm going to request another day off on M onday. Maybe the weird thing about it is that we don't know if you're going to make the request on Monday or if Monday is the day you want to take off. Though ambiguous, it's not incorrect.
