I'm going to .........(disconnect) my inetnet until my exams over

I'm going to ......... internet for a while until my exam is over.

Please fill up the blank and correct the sentence.

Actually, I'm looking up for the word which mean "disconnected the internet". I mean I asked my ISP to disconnect internet for a while or something like that. I don't think the word "disconnect" itself is correct here because "disconnect" sounds temporary disconnection like "I have just clicked the 'disconnect' button in the dialog box" .

If I have Internet connection at home, I tend to play online games and chat with others, thus lose concentration on my studies and exams. So usually when my exam is around the corner, I ask my ISP to disconnect my connection, or else I won't renew my account after it expires.

But if I say, "I'm going to disconnect my internet until my exam gets over", other pe
