Hi
Q1.Which is more correct? or what's the difference?

1. My name is John Stewart. I'm American.
2. My name is John Stewart. I'm an American.

I think the first one is the correct one. Mr.Stewart introduced himself, then said that he's (an American or American?)Emotion: wink. The first choice is written in a book I'm studying now.

Q2. Also, which of these is correct?

1. I can speak little French.
2. I can speak a little French.
