[I'll /I'm going to] be back at 5

To me, the sentence "I'll be back at 5" sounds better than "I'm going to be back at 5."
Do you agree? If so, can you explain why you don't use "I'm going to be" here?
Is it just an idiomatic phrase to use "I'll be "?
