Hello native speakers! Person 1 and Person 2 are about to enter a house. Person 1 wants to open the door for Person 2. Which one is more correct in this context?

1. Let me open the door.

2. I'll get that.

If you're near the door, you don't usually say anything. You just open the door. If you aren't yet near the door, say eg I'll get that / Let me get that.
