I'll do business the way in which I like.

Greetings.

https://forum.wordreference.com/threads/the-way-that-the-way-in-which.3050003/post-15415589:
(1a) This is the way (that) we wash our hands. – correct
(1b) This is the way in which we wash our hands. – correct but less natural

(2a) This is the way (that) we like it. – correct
(2b) This is the way in which we like it. – incorrect

I'd like to consider the next example:
(3a) I'll do business the way (that) I like. – correct
(3b) I'll do business the way in which I like. – is it correct?

Thanks.

No "that" or anything else. This is the way we wash our hands. Anything else with "the way we" is bizarre and labels you a foreigner. This is a good example of grammar failing us, because there is nothing else wrong with it.
