This sounds like I mean this.

My main task tonight is to thank you.

The thanking process will be very long.

eg It has a beginning, maybe 5 minutes.

It has a middle, maybe 50 minutes.

It has an end, eg 5 minutes.

Here's the beginning.

Obviously, this is not what you mean.

This sounds like I mean this.

My main task tonight is to eg discuss Global Warming.
