"I'll admit" phrase

The grammar checker software Grammarly has just flagged up something that has confused me, but the more I think about it, the more I see that they're technically right.

It labelled this as a comma splice:

I'll admit, there is a whole lot of fun to be had in the game's missions."

I've alway thought of "I'll admit" as an introductory phrase, but now I actually think about it, I suppose it is an independent clause all on its own.

Would any of you label the above sentence as incorrect?
