If you were to lose your cell phone

Regarding the two sentences below:

(A) If you lost your cell phone while traveling abroad, what would you do?
(B) If you were to lose your cell phone while traveling abroad, what would you do?

Are they both fine? I'm particularly not sure if (B) is okay.

Both are fine. Incidentally, we use the word 'fine' in the meaning of 'acceptable, correct' only in affirmative statements, not in negative or interrogative ones. I don't know why.
