Is 1 and 2 the same?

Does 2 sound OK? not weird?

Sentence 1 is okay.
Sentence 2 is wrong. A better example of "to look at him" would be "You wouldn't think he was a millionaire, to look at him". It's a weird turn of phrase. I'm so glad I grew up with this crazy language and didn't have
