If you do that you will/ will be

Hello.

I am still wondering about which tense I need to use in the following exmaple:

if you say/do that, you will provoke, embarrass, insult her.

Should i use “you will be insulting/provoking/annoying/embarrassing” her, I think the simple tense works better?

It depends on what you mean.

1) If you do that, you will provoke her.
~ If you do that, the result of it will be that she is provoked.
(One action causes another. Your action will cause her reaction.)

2) If you do that, you will be provoking her.
~ If y
