If +Will + Be

I 'd like to know your opinion about the following sentence:
"I don't know if I'll be there, next September."

" Sounds fine to me, though I would not use a comma.. If you are worried about 'will' in the if- clause, remember that this is not a conditional sentence. 'If' could be replaced by 'whether' in your sentence with no real difference in meaning.

As stated above, get rid of the comma and all will be fine.

if + will is OK in indirect questions such as occur after "I don't know", "No one knows", "I wonder", "I want to ask him", etc.
