If + will

Hi everyone,

Is it correct to use the future tense in the following "if" sentence?

If product testing will be involved in our meeting next week, our engineers will join us for the meeting.

If the use of the future tense in the above sentence is correct, is it possible to replace "will be" with "is"? And which is more common among native speakers? Is there a rule on this?

Thanks in advance.
