If we Further delayed?

I’m afraid our queries won’t get answered, if we further delayed/ further delay submitting our questions. Can you please confirm if the sentence is grammatically correct? Else please let me know the right sentence. Thanks in advance

'Won't' doesn't refer to the past tense, so you can't use 'delayed' with it. vts nair I’m afraid our queries won’t get answered if we further delay submitting our questions. Note that the comma is not necessary as it follows a main clause and precedes a subordinate clause.
