Are these sentences correct:

1-If you are to become a renowned scientist, you better work hard.
2-If you are going to become a renowned scientist, you better work hard.
(Meaning: If you want to become a renowned scientist, you better work hard.)

3-If we are going to catch that train, we should hurry.
