If then conditional sentence

Listen to part of lecture in a philosophy class.The professor has been talking about the ethics.

OK. If we're going to discuss goodness and justice-what makes an individual good or a society just or virtuous-then we need to start with the ancient Greeks.
So we'll start with Plato-Plato's philosophy.

Is the bold sentence a type of conditional? It is a bit strange to me.
I know there are four main types of 'if' sentences in English, including zero, first, second, and third conditional. However, the one above is different. Could you explain more?
