If .. Then...

Dear members.

I am confused about the usage of If Then... whether they could be used together in one sentence or if follows by comma not by Then..
some people suggest that If Then is computer statement , if never follows then... however some suggest If follows then in certain tenses..

please explain. whether if follows then or just a comma . like in Though takes only comma " , " .

If you use 'then', it comes at the beginning of the second clause after a comma. Jerry will help me if he can. No comma.

Jerry will help me if he can. No comma.
If Jerry can help me, he will. Comma.
If Jerry can help me, then he will. Comma.

You don't put 'then' first.

Then Jerry will help me if he can. Wrong.

Either sentence is correct, grammatically speaking. Personally, I would use "If Jerry can help me, then he will."

abrowaqas1) If jerry can help me, he will. 2) if jerry can help me, then he will.
Both are correct.

Is the shift key on your keyboard not working? It's Jerry, not jerry.
