if i were a bird, i will

hi Emotion: smile

thank you for your helps in advance.

my question is simple.

' If I were a bird, I WILL fly to you '

I've put "will" instead of "would".

yes I know that is incorrect. but

is that actually awkward for native speakers to hear in everyday conversation?

or just grammatically recommended not to put two different tenses in one sentence?

No, but you can say this:

When I grow wings like a bird, I will fly to you.
