If I didn't have a test tomorrow I could play game does it make sense?

My friends and I are in trouble with this sentence 'if I didn't have a test tomorrow I could play games' I think 'if I don't have a test tomorrow I can/will play games' which sentence is correct?

Top answer

' Note the comma after the 'if clause'. This shows that you have a test tomorrow that's why you can't play games and you have to prepare for the test. This structure of conditions is used in this situation.
