If clause with past future

Hello, the following sentence doesn't make any sense to me: "if you were going to catch flu, you would have caught it by now". I think it is incorrect, isn't it? It doesn't seem to be a mixed type sample to me either, I cannot get any meaning when I read it!

I think it should be
"if you had been going to catch flu, you would have caught it by now", or
"if you had been to catch flu, you would have caught it by now", right?

Or, I think it should be (without "by now")
"if you were going to catch flu, you would catch it", or
"if you were to catch flu, you would catch it", right?
