i'm a student. please help me. is this sentence correct?
"if she were him,she would not do that.it was because she was too stingy.

im confused with "if" clause.if i write an essay about dream/wish that starts with "if i had....", should i use all past tense for the whole essay? or i just need to use past tense in the sentence that contains "if"?

You are making a lot of basic errors that are much more elementary than the level of your question. Sentences begin with a capital letter. A space is required after a comma or a period. The word "I" is always capitalised.

The tenses feel a bit confused, and I find it hard to understand the logic of what you are trying to say. If she were him then she would be a different person, and perhaps not stingy at all. There is an idiom "If I were you, I'd..." which offers advice/opinion, but for me it's a strain to try to extend this to "If she were him...".

This is hard to answer without seeing the text that follows. All sorts of things are possible. If you are talking about something that you are imagining you had now, then the usual pattern is to use "would", as in "If I had a million dollars, I would give half of it to charity..."
