I spoke with someone yesterday about mum not able to attend their event due to her condition. I want to know if the following sentences can be used in report writing.


I forgot to tell you yesterday that my mum won't be able to attend your event because she is not feeling well

or

I forgot to tell you yesterday that my mum would not be able to attend your event because she was not feeling well.
