if and whether in the sentence

Is this naturally worded please? Should I change something?

If you are in the blast radius, you are dead whether you are next to the bomb or not.

Thank you

It's understandable, but I think 'blast zone' would be preferable. Rover

Using both if and whether doesn't seem unnatural?

This sentence is perfectly understandable but the term "blast radius" seems rather vague.
In addition, given that the sentence begins with "if", it would seem more natural to say"

If the are within the blast radius, you will be dead. . .
