But in the test I chose the option "should" and was adjudged wrong. According to the text programme, the correct one is "if". Here is the test http://www.examenglish.com/cpe/CPE_grammar.htm

That is probably because it is an American website, and putative 'should' is primarily a BrE phenomenon. The test makers made a mistake.
